Mio Matsuoka

Born 1987. Osaka, Japan.

Designer, Illustrator and Painter

London, United kingdom

I specialise in Illustration, Graphic Design and Drawing.

My art work is based on Digital Illustrations using scanned analog textures, which I make using paint and ink.  I layer the different mediums onto a  computer making them into one piece using a variety of software.

Most of my art is very colorful, however I also produce emotional and nostalgic art works which are not as vivid.

The theme of some of my work is "Cities and the people who live there".

Much of my inspiration comes from the British Mods culture in the 1960's and Japanese pop culture.

I am a Japanese artist living and working in London.
